MIRS 3860 Clinical Sonography - Summer I 2023       1-4 hrs.

Prerequisites: By permission. Clinical education course addressing basic general obstetric gynecologic, and cardiovascular sonographic techniques and protocols through direct and indirect supervision. Developing proficiency in basic patient care, ultrasound, physics and instrumentation, critical thinking, medical ethics, cultural diversity, professionalism, communication, and the sonographer's role on the healthcare team are primary goals. (Fall & Spring III)
