PEDI 9641 Adolescent Medicine - Spring 2019       80-160 hrs.

Prerequisites: PEDI 9650 Students provide supervised care for patients from age 10 through 25 years. Common conditions include asthma, eating disorders, reproductive health visits, STD-related complaints and preventative health visits. Students have the opportunity to participate in inpatient eating disorders treatment and minor surgical procedures such as nexplanon insertion and removal.
