NURS 8323 Health Policy Local to Global - Spring 2023       3-3 hrs.

Prerequisites: Enrollment in doctoral program in nursing (DNP/PhD). This course analyzes health policy and its impact on health care systems and advanced practice nursing. Students examine legislative and regulatory structures, governance, and global health issues while exploring leadership strategies to support advocacy, policy development, and implementation grounded in ethics and evidence to improve health care. (F, SP, SU; II).
