PHARMD 7194 Pharmacology and Therapeutics for Dentistry - Spring 2018       4-4 hrs.

Prerequisites: By permission. This course introduces basic pharmacologic principles and major drug classes for common ambulatory disease states. Emphasis is placed on medications used in dental practice, oral health care implications, chronic pain pharmacotherapy, substance use disorders, safe and effective prescribing, and interprofessional collaboration to support patient-centered care and optimize clinical outcomes.
